FATA MORGANA - EDITIONS
co-exposition avec L'Exemplaire

Founded in Hérault (France) in 1966 by Bruno Roy and Claude Féraud, Éditions Fata Morgana is a publication house dedicated to literature and art books.

At first glance, the high quality of typography and the choice of beautiful papers are stunning. But the aesthetic aspect is nothing without content to match. Nothing to fear: short and singular texts, both by renowned authors (Blanchot, Foucault, Michaux, Segalen), and contemporary authors (Jaccottet, Reda, Stétié) or even young writers (Bobin, Jonathan Littell, Demangeot) are remarkable.

French literature is not the only one honored. The Mediterranean basin is represented by Greek (Elytis, Cavafy, Séféris), Italian (Montale, Ungaretti), Turkish (Abidine, Gürsel), or Spanish (Cernuda) authors. As for the Arab-Islamic world, it is not to be outdone with studies by Corbin, Massignon or Bounoure, classical or contemporary French texts (Stétié, Khatibi) or in translation.

The catalog gathers more than 500 titles. Among them, bibliophile works, printed in small numbers and illustrated by artists such as Zao Wou Ki, Badaire, Hollan, Fassianos, Matta, Alechinsky, Masson, Tel Coat, the Messagier or Velickovic.
