Galerie Grand-Rue

VOYAGE, VOYAGES
Prints, watercolors, gouaches, drawings and photographs

Take a trip to the Galerie Grand-Rue! Our autumn exhibition will take you from the banks of the Nile to the peaks of the Alps, from the Bosphorus to the slopes of Vesuvius, from the streets of Rome to the temples of Athens.

On the road you will rub shoulders with some of our favorite artisanal vagabonds such as Edward Lear (1812-1888), David Roberts (1796-1864) or Amadeo Preziosi (1816-1882) before taking flight through Alpine scenes courtesy of engravings by Jean Antoine Linck (1766-1843) and photographs by Adolphe Braun (1812-1877). Then let yourself go as you glide down into views of the Italian peninsula as seen by Salomon Corrodi (1810-1892), ALR Ducros (1747-1810), Saverio della Gatta (active 1777-1827), Luigi Fergola (1768-1834) and Giovanni Battista Piranesi (1720-1778).
Prepare your luggage, let's go on a journey! Air smiles guaranteed!
