La chambre mentale
In 1996 Marc Le Mené built in his studio a small room made of wood and cardboard that he populated over the years with beings and objects with improbable similarities.
It is pleasant to note that the room is both the tool used by the artist, and his mental room", his mind from which spring his most extravagant dreams that he transcribes into the miniature room.
In this room, phantasmagorical landscapes are born, meeting places of characters or objects with incongruous dimensions that express better than any speech tenderness, madness, sadness, anger, dreams of escape, desire of freedom, melancholy and always humor.
Since 1996 and his first room, 321 rooms have come out of Marc le Mené's imagination and everything leads us to believe that he will not stop there and will surprise us for a long time to come.
