Frédéric Clot
Generic Supremes

Frédéric Clot presents us with a series of paintings and drawings that propose a reflection on the sensory perception of lines and spatial forms.
After the series of large paintings known as "pixelated" - Biotopes & Big Data - the painter reuses as a fundamental way the horizontal and vertical tracing specific to the square, constituting the pixel.
He paints signs, maps, sets, frontal perspectives that lead us to the generics of modern organization techniques. Between figuration and abstraction, Frederic Clot always recovers the world of images, the only world from now on. He inexorably recovers the paradigm where the advent of the digital has ended up affecting more or less all our conceptions and information.
