AMSTERDAM ET SES ENVIRONS AU XVIIe SIÈCLE

Even If the Dutch golden age was not created in a specific city of Holland, Leiden and Delft became famous thanks to Rembrandt and Vermeer. However, the economic boom of that period turned Amsterdam in an important place where the wealthy class started enjoying fashionable artists.

We can add Haarlem as a close city to Amsterdam, where Frans Hals led its school. Our exhibition will focus on the main types of Dutch art, like portraits, landscapes or marine scenes from painters such as Ravesteyn, Cornelisz van Haarlem.
