A Taste of Art
This exhibition coincides with my tenth year as an art dealer. I am the third generation of my family to follow this path; my grandmother began selling in Troyes more than 50 years ago and my father started in the St-Ouen flea-market while he was still studying medicine on his way to becoming a psychiatrist. He soon picked up all sorts of treasures due to his huge capacity to work and study around the clock at a time when there were not as many books on art as there are today. He passed on to my sister and me part of his knowledge.
My wife and I work very hard to please our collectors and we travel a great deal to seek, and sometimes to find, a very rare piece of art history. I really hope that by virtue of this exhibition, you will experience the same feelings of joy and excitement as we did when we first saw these works. Charly Bailly
